Dear Parent,

       

        Can you believe this school year is over?? We have some special activities planned for the end of the year.

 

·        Our First Graders are READERS!!  To celebrate READING one last time we will be having a Read-in on Monday, June 3.  Students need to bring 8-12 books, and extra healthy snack, and a beach towel to read on (in case we can read outside~~ weather permitting).

·        We will be having a FIRST GRADE PICNIC on Monday, June 3.  We will be eating outside together.  Please pack your lunch and drink with your beach towel. (Milk and Hot lunch will be available if necessary)

·        Tuesday, June 4 is Field Day.  Please wear PE shoes as we will be outside all morning enjoying outdoor activities.

You will also need to bring a LARGE bag to clean out your desks and bring home all your school supplies.

·        Wednesday, June 5 is the last day of school.  The students will be signing yearbooks.  Please have your child bring his/her yearbook to school.  If your child didn’t order one or forgets to bring it, I will provide them autograph paper.  There is NO

early start that day. Hours are 9:05 to 10:25. Report cards go home with the students.

 

        It has been a great year! It has been wonderful to see the academic, social, and physical growth of the children.  We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support throughout the year. You’ve been TERRIFIC!!
