Happy New Year! I hope you enjoyed the holidays and time with your family. It's hard to believe it is January...maybe because of the weather.
This week we are reading two versions of "The Mitten". We have worked on sequencing and comparing and contrasting two stories. We are also working on prefixes, suffixes and compound words. We are reviewing the months of the year.

In math we are continuing to work on measuring with nonstandard units. I've added some great math games to the class blog. Please check them out.
We'll be talking about snow and whether winter is our favorite season.
